I do not support Flex in the acres. We love our community as is. We do not need the additional homes that will create a crowded and undesirable living situation for all the residents of the acres.

The issue of Flex has been in limbo for far too long regarding its consideration within Plantation Acres. There has not been one voice heard, not one, that is in favor of increasing the density within Plantation Acres. There is 100% agreement from residents. You have the rare opportunity here to both do what is right and what is wanted by your constituency. I implore you to fully reject flex in Plantation Acres and put this issue to rest.

I would like to state that a Special Public Interest District should not have any change in zoning, per flex. I am tired of hearing my own voice. So I can imagine you hearing all of your Acres’ constituents saying the same thing over and over. There is a good reason for our land to have special codes that help in such a low lying flood area. Developing will make it that much more difficult to rid ourselves of the dangerous standing water that we already have issues with at this time. Thank you.
