This is a long-needed set of improvements. The park's paths have gotten downright dicey to walk or bike, and without much shade, can get quite hot. I'd also like to see additional tree canopy added alongside to provide future natural shade as well. Happy to see this being done, and reflects the kind of "long modernization" small quality of life gains which are done without taking many years to accumulate millions for one large project.
