Please allow discussion on #15 at tonight‘s meeting. I feel very strongly that the resident should have the right to vote on whether or not they want PAID to continue. While they have been fantastic this year there is nothing keeping it from going right back to the way, it was for the last 20 years I’ve lived here. Between now and the election residents will be able to decide what is best for the acres. It will give the city and the residents the ability to see how they would be better served.

I have been actively involved in this inititive for over 2 years and during this time i have spoken to numerous residents in Plantation Acres that support the effort to disolve PAID and transfer the authority and responsibility for management of water and flood control to the City of Plantation.

The City and their Staff and elected officials are best qualifed to handle PAIDS' responsibilities .

Please pass this resolution so that this may be voted on by Plantation Acres Residents.

Please dissolve PAID, they have been a plague on the acres since they began. Many people move to the Acres because they don't want an HOA, then find out they have to deal with PAID which is worse than an HOA. Further, why should we have to pay an outside Engineering firm $250/hr for plan approval before submitting to the city, ridiculous.

Living in The Acres, I believe it’s important for our community to have the chance to decide this issue on the 2026 ballot. I appreciate the city’s dedication in guiding us through the concerns with PAID. Please support the right for the our community to vote on this matter.

Please support the dissolution of PAID, whether the PAID Board agrees or not, and work with the Broward Legislative Delegation to successfully bring the dissolution to a referendum, where the resident make the final decision at the ballot box. Thank you!

As a resident of The Acres, my husband and I hope that you will vote to allow this issue to be placed on the 2026 ballet for our neighbors to decide what is best for us. We continue to see the issues that PAID is battling, and appreciate all the time and resources that the city has granted us so far in helping us discover how to move forward. Thank you for your support.
