20.) PD22-0002: Consideration of a request to approve a land use plan amendment (LUPA) for Water's Edge. The property is located at 1600 S.W. 80 Terrace and zoned OP-P (Office Park - Plantation).
The developer stated that a public meeting was held on Feb. 13th, 2023, "With no members of the public in attendance". I can under stand this since only resedences within 500 ft were notified. This means no homes east of University Drive and no homes west of Pine Island were included. This means no single-family homes were included. Plantation Zoning Code Amendment V table 41-2 states notification for LUMP map amendmet and rezoning is 750 ft.. Under Plantation Code of Ordinances it's 1000 ft.
