This project is throwing good money after bad, repeatedly. New change orders add $55,000 to the PD&E, which is already over $1.2M, and, if I'm reading correctly, adds 2 years to the planning. It also appears to recommend an additional lane, which will increase construction costs, further induce more car traffic, and even more heavily degrade the greenway experience, the transportation path we should be putting our focus towards. All for our Midtown, an area we support making car-lite.
